Upper Mount Bethel Community Park Foundation

The creation of a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization for the Community Park is currently taking place.  The purpose of forming the Organization, which will be incorporated, is to raise funds for the construction of the Upper Mount Bethel Community Park.

As you know, the Upper Mount Bethel Township Recreation Board has already begun some fundraising activities.  In the course of developing these activities, it was discovered that some people, organizations and companies prefer to (or are required to) donate only to Nonprofit Organizations. 

The Foundation will also be another avenue by which grant funding can be accomplished.  Some grant sources are open to Nonprofit Organizations but not Municipal entities. 

A group of community members would like the residents of the Township to have every available means to complete the construction of our park.  To that end, this group is forming the Upper Mount Bethel Community Park Foundation for the purpose of raising funds for the park.  This is just one more example of how our community members are working together to achieve a common goal.
